Javier Rosenberg

Javier Rosenberg serves as the President of Northwood Hospitality. Mr. Rosenberg is an accomplished hospitality executive with extensive international experience across multiple segments including luxury, upscale and select service.

Prior to joining Northwood Hospitality, he was President of the Americas at Carlson Rezidor (Radisson Hotel Group), where he was responsible for the performance of more than 700 owned, managed and franchised hotels, as well as the growth of the business. Other past experiences include extensive global operational roles in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia with companies including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, Swissotel and others.

Javier’s experience across all disciplines in operations and management in the industry allows him to understand the challenges faced by those in the field. His ability to relate to individuals across all levels, speak the language of owners and operators, as well as his strong results and customer focus, have fueled his success since early in his career. He was awarded the Young Hotelier of Year award in 2001 by Hotels Magazine. Javier is regarded as an inspirational leader by his teams, many of whom he has either hired, developed and/or promoted. He is a graduate cum laude, of Boston University, School of Hospitality Administration; where he also serves as Vice Chairman of the Advisory Committee.
