Katlynn Vredenburgh is an experienced professional in environmental education and wildlife program coordination. Currently serving as the Wildlife Education Program Coordinator and Environmental Education and Outdoor Recreation Instructor at the NorthWoods Stewardship Center since February 2021, Katlynn has developed and implemented a range of environmental education programs for various age groups. Prior experience includes roles as a Self-Directed Support Worker at Springbrook NY, Inc., Substitute Teacher at Bainbridge-Guilford High School, and an SCA AmeriCorps Environmental Education Intern at Mine Kill State Park, where Katlynn conducted significant research on invasive species and collected ecological data. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Cazenovia College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Tompkins Cortland Community College.

The NorthWoods Stewardship Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing quality scientific, educational and conservation service programs in northern Vermont and New Hampshire since 1989. The mission of NorthWoods – connecting people and place through science, education, and action – is achieved through the integration of three program areas: education, forest stewardship, and conservation corps. Through the synergy of these programs, NorthWoods creates responsible and informed citizens capable of sustaining vibrant communities and a healthier natural environment.
