Mark Cooksey

Mark Cooksey, ⚕ CLSSMBB, MBA, BSME ⚕, currently serves as a DME Quality Engineer and the ISO 13485 Quality Management System Leader in Clinical Engineering at Norton Healthcare, a position held since November 2015. During this tenure, Mark successfully led the implementation of Norton Healthcare's Quality Management System, achieving the first ISO 13485 certification for an in-house clinical engineering management organization. Additionally, Mark holds the role of Certified MBB, Coach, Project Leader, and Corporate Trainer for Lean Six Sigma within Norton Healthcare. Previously, Mark has amassed extensive experience in various leadership positions across organizations such as KentuckyOne Health, GE Appliances, and Humana, where significant contributions in performance excellence, project management, and operational improvements were made. Mark's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Louisville and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Kentucky, along with ongoing studies in Jazz Performance at Henry Ford College.
