System Vice President Women's Services at Norton Healthcare

Mary Schubert has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in women's services. Mary is currently working as the System Vice President of Women's Services at Norton Healthcare since October 2020. Prior to this, they held the same role at the same company. In 2019, they served as a District 6 Section Advisory Council member at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). From 2016 to 2020, Mary was the Executive Director of Women's and Children's Services at Munson Healthcare. Mary also served as a leader in AWHONN from 2014 to 2017, holding the position of Michigan AWHONN Section Chairperson. Additionally, Mary worked as the Clinical Services Director at Mercy Health Saint Mary's from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for strategic planning and program development. Before that, they were the Nurse Manager at Covenant Health Care from 2008 to 2011, where they focused on managing the Birth Center and was involved in its remodeling. Mary began their career as a Nurse Manager at McLaren Bay Region from 2001 to 2008.

Mary Schubert has completed their Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in Health System Nurse Specialist from Saginaw Valley State University.
