Steve Elster

Steve Elster has accumulated significant experience in the field of information technology. Steve has served as the Director of IT at Norvic Shipping International Ltd., where they implemented a hybrid cloud-based model using the Microsoft Azure platform and ensured data security through conditional access and Single sign-on (SSO). Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Information Officer at Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc., overseeing technology and corporate policies for the company. Steve also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at REBNY, where they successfully improved IT performance and service levels. Before this, they served as an IT Director at McGovern & Company, PAVARINI MCGOVERN LLC/ STRUCTURETONE, and J.A. Jones GMO/Pavarini McGovern. Additionally, Steve Elster has extensive military experience as an Electronic Engineer in the NYANG (New York Air National Guard).

Steve Elster holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Purdue Global, which they completed in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Purdue Global in 2020. Before attending Purdue Global, Steve pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Studies from SUNY Empire State College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Their academic journey began with an Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering from CCAF, which they earned in 1989. Additionally, Steve has obtained the certification of (ISC)2 Security CISSP from (ISC)² in July 2023.
