Rusmir Zec

Rusmir Zec has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rusmir is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at Humboldt Park Health since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Director - Accounting & Finance at AHIMA from November 2019 to March 2022. Before that, Rusmir held the position of Vice President of Accounting, Reporting, & Decision Support at YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago from January 2018 to November 2019.

Rusmir also served as the Vice President of Finance at Beltone from October 2015 to December 2017 and as the Assistant Vice President - Financial Operations at Sinai Health System from December 2013 to September 2015. Rusmir gained valuable financial management experience at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where they held various senior finance roles, including Senior Finance Manager - Clinical Office from June 2011 to December 2013, Senior Finance Manager - Process Improvement Division from June 2010 to June 2011, and 340B Finance, Audit, & Compliance Manager from June 2008 to June 2010.

Prior to their tenure at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Rusmir worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in several key positions, including VP - Financial Analysis Manager from July 2005 to June 2008, AVP - Senior Financial Analyst from May 2002 to July 2005, and Officer - Senior Accountant from January 2000 to May 2002. Rusmir began their career as a Junior Accountant at Guarantee Trust Life Insurance from September 1997 to December 1999.

Rusmir's early work experience includes a role as a Legal Assistant at Pattishall McAuliffe from January 1997 to August 1997 and an Office Internship at Deloitte & Touche from February 1996 to December 1996. Overall, Rusmir Zec has a well-rounded background in finance and accounting, with extensive experience in leadership and management positions.

Rusmir Zec has a Diploma of Education from Maine East High School. Rusmir also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University. Additionally, Rusmir has pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
