Claudiu Jarnea

Claudiu Jarnea is a highly experienced marine engineering professional currently serving as Staff Chief Engineer at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. since July 2010. With a robust background in hotel operations and technical management onboard ships, Claudiu has progressively advanced through positions such as Chief Engineer, 1st Engineer, and 2nd Engineer, gaining extensive knowledge in various mechanical systems, including diesel engines and auxiliary machinery. Prior roles include engineering positions at Costa Crociere S.p.A., James Fisher and Sons plc, Maersk Line, and others, providing a solid foundation in the industry. Claudiu holds a Diploma in Ship Superintendency from Lloyd's Maritime Academy and a degree in Naval Electro-mechanical Engineering from Constanta Maritime University.
