Georgi Komnev

Georgi Komnev is an experienced maritime engineer with a Master's degree in Ship Machine and Mechanism from Technical University Varna, obtained between 2000 and 2006. Currently serving as Staff Chief Engineer at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. since December 2011, Georgi has extensive expertise in the overhaul and routine maintenance of engine room equipment, including MAN 14 48/60 main engines and ABB automated engine room systems. Previous positions include working as a Watch Keeping Second Engineer on M/V Norwegian Dawn, where Georgi was responsible for Azipods, and serving as a Second Engineer on M/V Horizon, overseeing boiler operations. Earlier experience includes a Second Engineer role at Stargate Consulting & Training srl, where responsibilities included managing diesel generators on car carrier ships.
