Pernille Karlstad

Pernille Karlstad currently serves as Seksjonssjef at Departementenes sikkerhets- og serviceorganisasjon since April 2022, overseeing services and advisory in digital communication, web technology, user experience, design profiles, and special application management. Prior to this, Karlstad held the position of Fungerende direktør for User and Customer Service at Politiets IKT-tjenester from March 2016 to April 2022, leading the advancement of future user support through automated digital solutions. Karlstad also served as Seksjonssjef for Regional IKT, managing a team that provided ICT support to the police in the districts. With managerial roles at Nets, CSC, and Scandinavian IT Group, as well as foundational experience at Manpower and NetCom, Karlstad has built extensive expertise in team leadership, service delivery, and strategic management. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Bachelor of Management from BI Norwegian Business School.
