Eric Batonon

Eric Batonon currently serves as the Country Director for the Norwegian Refugee Council since September 2023, having previously held the same title with the organization from October 2015 to June 2023. Eric Batonon has extensive experience in humanitarian roles, including positions such as Area Manager and Education Project Manager at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Prior to this, Eric Batonon worked as an Independent Trainer and Auditor with Humanitarian Accountability Partnership International from September 2009 to October 2015 and held various roles within the Norwegian Refugee Council during the late 2000s and early 2010s, including Project Manager for Food Security and Education Program Manager. Eric Batonon's career began as an Associate Humanitarian Affairs Officer with the UN Peacekeeping mission in RD Congo. Eric Batonon holds two Master's degrees in Communication, Humanitaire et Solidarité from Université Lumière Lyon 2.
