Trude Bruun Thorstensen

Trude Bruun Thorstensen has extensive experience in organizational development and management within the humanitarian sector, currently serving as the Head of the Organisational Development Unit for NORCAP at the Norwegian Refugee Council since March 2014. Previous roles at NORCAP included Head of Strategy, Information and Support, and Adviser to the Secretary General's office and Board of Directors, focusing on senior management support and cross-departmental initiatives. Thorstensen has also contributed to the UN World Food Programme as a VAM Officer and gained early experience as a trainee at the All India Disaster Mitigation Institute and as a Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS University of London.
