Lauren Girasoli

Lauren Girasoli is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching. Currently serving as an English Teacher at The Norwich Free Academy since July 2012, Lauren plans, instructs, and assesses students in various literature, reading, and writing courses, including honors American literature and college prep classes. In addition, Lauren has been a Religious Education Teacher for grades 6-8 at Christ the King Church since September 2010. Previous roles include SAT Teacher and Tutor at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, student teacher at Ledyard High School, and intern at East Lyme High School. Early career experiences include serving as a teaching assistant and site director for a nonprofit organization focused on college readiness. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Education from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Haverford College.
