Julie Braithwaite

Julie Braithwaite is an experienced event management professional with over 15 years in the field. Currently serving as the Head of Challenge Events at Norwood since July 2015, Julie is responsible for the management, strategic development, and logistical planning of a portfolio of UK and international challenge events, focusing on supporter experience and major donor stewardship. Prior to this role, Julie held the position of Area Events Manager at Cancer Research UK from April 2010 to July 2015, where responsibilities included the marketing and logistical organization of large fundraising events. Julie's career also includes a significant tenure as Head of Marketing at Nicomatic, where strategic marketing initiatives increased turnover, and earlier experience as a Creative Account Manager at CSA Advertising Ltd, developing advertising strategies for various clients. Julie holds a degree in Business Studies (Advertising & Marketing) from the University of the West of England, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising.
