Moaffak Ahmed

Moaffak Ahmed is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in various sectors. Moaffak founded Cooler Future in 2019, focusing on sustainable consumption to combat climate change. As a partner at Nordic Makers, Moaffak collaborates with top Nordic angel investors. Moaffak is also a co-founder and chairman of Sisu Game Ventures, dedicated to the gaming industry, and has invested in Oradian, addressing the lack of formal financial services in rapidly growing economies. Additional roles include investor and chairman of the board at Nosto, board member at AJ Fund Management Inc. and Slush, general partner and co-founder at Veturi Venture Accelerator, and board member at Kasvuryhmä. Moaffak co-founded the Startup Foundation to support the tech ecosystem in Scandinavia. Moaffak holds a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Helsinki, specializing in philosophy, economics, and sociology.
