Forward Deployed Engineer

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with customers to quickly understand their greatest problems and implement and integrate new technical solutions. In this role, you’ll apply your problem solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to help integrate solutions on-site. You’ll have the opportunity to gain rare insight and contribute to some of the most important industries and institutions nationwide!

Our ideal candidate will be skilled in technical exploration, strong communication skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction. They will also have the ability to collaborate efficiently in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives and iteration with users.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software design and development
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites
• Extensive experience in Python and Typescript for backend API development
• Participation and ownership in all stages of the development process: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience creating, presenting, and refining clear, compelling technical specifications from top-level system architecture documents down to low-level implementation guides and test plans
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and collaborate in a team environment, yet capable of executing independently.
