Full Stack Engineer at Notch

Tomer Yona has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tomer started their career as a Naval cadet in the Israeli Navy in 2011, where they gained experience working with advanced technology systems and troubleshooting under pressure. Tomer then served as a Naval Submariner and a Team Player in the navigation team of I.N.S "Dolphin" from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Tomer joined the Israel Defense Forces as a Commander and Team Leader at the IDF Navy Submariner School. In this role, they mentored and managed a team of cadets, provided training on theoretical and practical material, and demonstrated leadership skills.

After completing their military service, Tomer transitioned to the private sector and worked as a Product Analyst at TextLuke, an AI real estate assistant company, from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they took ownership of all product features, prioritized them to executives and the development team, and played a vital role in the product's success.

In 2018, Tomer joined YTech Runway, a subsidiary of Yigal Arnon & Co. Law firm, as the Head of Product. Here, they focused on building tools for entrepreneurs and startup founders. Additionally, they served as a Community Manager, identifying opportunities to secure new business, planning and prioritizing product development processes, and building a network of potential clients.

From 2020 to 2022, Tomer worked as a Full-stack Developer at Treepodia. Tomer was responsible for API design, development of RESTful Services, and building Angular components for the customer-facing web app. Tomer worked in an agile team, prioritized and scoped feature requests, and ensured the delivery of impactful product features.

Currently, Tomer is working as a Full Stack Engineer at Notch, starting in 2022.

Tomer Yona holds a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc degree in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University. Tomer also obtained a certification in HTML/CSS and JavaScript from TestDome in August 2020.
