Justin Yoo

Justin Yoo is a Senior Scientist at Notch Therapeutics, specializing in gene editing and primary T-cell engineering since July 2021. With prior experience as a Scientist II at Notch Therapeutics, Justin established a comprehensive Amplicon Sequencing workflow and led the characterization of gene editing nuclease off-target effects, developing innovative strategies for identification and validation in alignment with regulatory guidelines. Previously, Justin contributed to protein engineering at bluebird bio, managing teams and designing tools to optimize gene editing applications. Justin completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, focusing on protein engineering methods, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
