Mark Richmond is the current head coach of the men's basketball team at Notre Dame College. Prior to Notre Dame, Richmond held head coaching positions at Youngstown State University and Fordham University. Mark also served as an assistant coach at East Tennessee State University, the University of Charleston, and Centenary College of Louisiana.
Richmond began their coaching career at Centenary College of Louisiana in May 2008. Mark served as an assistant coach there for two years before moving on to the University of Charleston in April 2010. At Charleston, Richmond was an assistant coach for three years before being promoted to head coach at East Tennessee State University in October 2013.
Richmond coached at East Tennessee State for two years before being hired as the head coach at Fordham University in June 2015. Mark coached at Fordham for two years before being hired as the head coach at Youngstown State University in May 2017. Mark coached at Youngstown State for two years before being hired as the head coach at Notre Dame College in July 2019.
Mark Richmond studied Health and Physical Education/Fitness at West Virginia University and obtained a Bachelor's degree.
They work with Nicole Pizzi - Head Coach, Acrobatics & Tumbling, Macie Hysell - Head Coach, Women's Golf, and Sonny Marchette - Men's Wrestling, Head Coach. and Duncan Williams - Men's Basketball, Assistant Coach reports to Mark Richmond. Mark Richmond reports to Scott Swain, VP, Intercollegiate Athletics.
