Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi
Jonathan Rinehart is an experienced behavioral health clinician and case manager with a focus on substance abuse issues for federally registered tribal citizens at the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since August 2016. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Grand Valley State University, Jonathan has also completed master's level studies there. In addition to clinical work, Jonathan has a longstanding commitment to Native American advocacy, providing educational and cultural experiences for tribal youth since 1995. Previous roles include a fellowship at the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, work as a youth specialist, and as a home/school coordinator, where Jonathan supported Native American families and developed culturally relevant curricula.

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is a federally recognized Tribal government with more than 1,600 enrolled Tribal Members. The NHBP main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, Michigan, with additional offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While NHBP seeks to improve the lives of their Tribal Members, NHBP also looks for ways to improve the lives of those around the NHBP Community. There are many events, programs and activities for NHBP Tribal Members, staff and Community members to attend throughout the year. The unity that NHBP purposely focuses on is meant to create a more diverse, accepting and caring culture.
