Amy Nelsen

Amy Nelsen has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles in various organizations. Amy held positions such as Trustee at Refuge starting in 2024. Prior to that, they worked at Notting Hill Genesis, where they served as Director of Strategic Asset Management, Director of Renew, Director of Temporary Housing, Head of Service Development, Head of Business Development, and Commercial Development Manager between 2015 and 2023. Before that, they worked at Look Ahead Care and Support, holding roles such as Senior Business Development Manager, Contract Manager, and Business Development Manager from 2010 to 2015. Amy also worked as a Business Development Officer at DMC Healthcare starting in 2008 and as a Project Coordinator at Austin Music Foundation from 2005 to 2007.

Amy Nelsen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2007. Amy then pursued a Master's Degree in International and European Politics at The University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2008.
