Dr Steve Faulkner

Dr. Steve Faulkner is a Training Scientist at British Cycling since April 2022 and a Senior Lecturer in Sports Engineering and Physiology at Nottingham Trent University since June 2017, specializing in exercise and environmental physiology. As the Director of SPEED Laboratories, established in May 2017, Steve focuses on advancing research in the sports sector, drawing from over a decade of experience in performance sport and healthcare. Previous roles include Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Loughborough University, where research centered on exercise's role in chronic disease management, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Northampton. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from Loughborough University, an MSc in Molecular Biology from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Birmingham.
