Joshua Hill is an accomplished professional in the field of art and cultural heritage conservation with extensive academic and practical experience. Currently an Aldama Scientific Fellow at The National Gallery and a Visiting Fellow at Nottingham Trent University, Joshua focuses on wall paintings conservation while also engaging in broader issues related to built environment and paintings conservation. Previous roles include Graduate Intern at the J. Paul Getty Trust, Associate Lecturer at the Courtauld Institute of Art, and Teaching Fellow at UCL, among others. Joshua holds an MA in Conservation of Wall Painting from The Courtauld Institute of Art and a DPhil in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Oxford, demonstrating a strong foundation in both the sciences and the arts.
