Judge - Taher Abou-Eleid

Judge Taher Abou-eleid, LL.M., currently serves as the President of the Court of Appeal in the Civil Chamber at the Ministry of Justice in Egypt since August 2023. With a longstanding career in the judiciary, Abou-eleid has held various positions including Vice-President at the Alexandria Court of Appeal and Judge at the Cairo Court of Appeal. Additionally, Abou-eleid is a member of the international advisory committee at Nottingham Trent University and founded the Law and Technology Cairo Forum in 2023. As the founder of the Legal Education Reform Initiative in Egypt, Abou-eleid has advocated for legal education reform through publications and events, garnering significant support within legal circles. Educational credentials include multiple LL.M. degrees and various certificates in global law and public administration.
