Rachel Challen

Rachel Challen has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Interim Head of Journalism and Media and Interim Head of Learning, Teaching, and Student Experience at Nottingham Trent University since January 2017. Rachel has held multiple academic leadership roles, including Associate Professor in Educational Development and Principal Lecturer positions focused on learning and teaching management. Rachel is also a Senior Fellow of the Staff and Educational Development Association and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Prior to Nottingham Trent University, Rachel worked at various institutions, including Loughborough College as an Elearning Manager and the University of Wolverhampton as a Blended Learning Advisor. Rachel's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Multimedia and eLearning from The University of Huddersfield and multiple teaching and management certifications from recognized institutions.
