Tricia Akers

Tricia Akers is a Part Time Lecturer in Architecture at Nottingham Trent University since September 2022, focusing on integrating sustainability principles into building design for third-year students while analyzing completed precedent buildings. Simultaneously, Tricia has served as Director at Allan Joyce Architects since June 1989, undertaking diverse projects such as feasibility masterplans for a Housing Association, the repurposing of a listed Georgian Town Hall, a replacement dwelling in the countryside for a private client, and the refurbishment of a church in the city center. Tricia holds a BA Architecture (Hons) and B Arch (Hons) from the University of Nottingham, completed between 1982 and 1989.
