Yang Wei

Yang WEI is an experienced academic and researcher with a focus on smart fabrics and microsystem technology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University since December 2018, Yang WEI previously held various roles at the University of Southampton from October 2011 to November 2018, including Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow. Additionally, Yang WEI contributed as an Entrepreneurial Lead at SETsquared Partnership in early 2018, specializing in the market validation of advanced RFID technology for textile applications. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Smart Fabrics material development from the University of Southampton, an MSc in Microsystem Technology, and a BSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire.
