Katie Commisso

Katie Commisso is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as Copy Chief at NOTUS since January 2024. Prior to this role, Katie worked at Vanity Fair from June 2017 to January 2024, holding positions as Copy & Research Director and Line Editor. Previous experience includes roles as Research Editor and Associate Research Editor at Wenner Media from April 2014 to April 2017, Assistant Web Editor at SourceMedia from February 2012 to April 2014, and Executive Assistant at MBRE Management. Katie also gained experience as a Research/Copy Edit Intern and Freelance intern at Wenner Media and as an Editorial Intern at both Carol Mann Agency and Foundry Literary + Media. Katie Commisso holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing and History of Art and Architecture from the University of Pittsburgh.
