Kyung-Hak Choi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kyung-Hak is currently the Head of Biomedical Research Lab at NOUL Co., Ltd since November 2022. Additionally, they hold the position of Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology since October 2022.

Prior to these roles, Kyung-Hak Choi worked at Optolane Technologies Inc from 2014 to 2022. Kyung-Hak also worked as a Circuit Designer at SiliconFile Technologies Inc, MagnaChip Semiconductor, and Hynix Semiconductor, where they designed and tested integrated circuits for CMOS image sensors and LCD driver ICs.

Kyung-Hak Choi's work experience also includes a brief internship at Pulsus Technologies in 2001 and working as a Science Teacher at Korea SAT preparation institute from 1997 to 2000.

Kyung-Hak Choi started their education at Seoul National University in 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Science. Kyung-Hak completed their undergraduate studies in 1994. After a gap of several years, they resumed their education at Seoul National University in 2000, this time studying Electrical Engineering. Kyung-Hak obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003. Following this, Choi pursued higher education in the United States at The University of Texas at Dallas. From 2007 to 2009, they obtained their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Kyung-Hak then continued their studies at the same institution and completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering in 2012. In 2015, Choi returned to Seoul National University for additional education and participated in the NANO IP Enterprise Program, although the specific degree they pursued is not specified.
