Soyeon Yi

Soyeon Yi has a diverse work experience in various industries and organizations. Soyeon is currently the Managing Director of Business Development & Partnership at NOUL Co., Ltd. Soyeon also serves as an Advisory Board Member at E2MC Ventures and as a Member of the Board of Directors at AdvancingX. Soyeon Yi is the Founder & Director of MCA-X, LLC, a company they established in 2017. Soyeon has also been involved in important advisory roles such as being a part of the Boeing Academy for STEM Learning Advisory Committee at The Museum of Flight and serving as a STEM School Advisory Board Member at the University of Washington Bothell. Soyeon Yi is well-versed in space education and research, having held roles as a Faculty Member and Adjunct Faculty at the International Space University. Soyeon has also worked as the Head of Global Customer Engagement at ProtoPie, where they contributed to the development of innovative digital products. Additionally, Soyeon Yi has experience as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Washington Tacoma and in strategic business development and international partnerships at Loft Orbital Solutions.

Soyeon Yi's education history is as follows:

From 1997 to 2001, they attended the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2001, they continued their education at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. This degree was completed in 2002.

Following their Master's degree, Soyeon Yi pursued a Ph.D in BioSystems from 2002 to 2008 at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.

In 2009, they attended the International Space University, where they earned a certificate for SSP09 (Space Studies Program) within that year.

Later on, in 2012, Soyeon Yi enrolled in the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and completed their studies in 2014. Soyeon was awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General.

Soyeon Yi also received an additional certification in DESIGNING STRATEGY from IDEO U in August 2020.
