Maciej Hołówko earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biotechnology from Gdańsk University of Technology in 2011, followed by a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Biotechnology from Warsaw University of Technology in 2012. Maciej also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizing and Managing Production from Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie in 2013. In 2017, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Synthetic Biology from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
