Carlo Nicosia

Carlo Nicosia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of chemistry and product management. Currently serving as Global Technical Development Manager at Nouryon since January 2024, Carlo has also held the position of Group Leader Product Management at KLK Kolb since April 2018, where responsibilities included simplifying the product portfolio and enhancing collaboration with the supply chain. Previously, Carlo worked at Elementis Global from October 2013 to February 2018, advancing through roles from Research Scientist to Principal Scientist - Team Leader, focusing on the development of new specialty chemicals. Carlo's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Twente, where research concentrated on molecular sensors and materials science, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Parma. Additional research experience encompasses roles at various institutions, where Carlo investigated catalysts for plastic materials and developed analytical methods for environmental pollutants.
