Geert Bonte

Geert Bonte has a rich and extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Geert most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for EMEA at Nouryon. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at DSM, including Vice President of Operational Excellence for the Materials Cluster and Vice President of Operations for Protective Materials. Geert also worked as the Director of Operational Excellence at DSM and held the position of Global Director of Manufacturing for Engineering Materials. Before joining DSM, Geert worked at SABIC, where they held several director-level positions, including Director of Manufacturing Planning for SABIC Europe and Director of Site Improvements. Geert also served as Vice Chairman and held various managerial roles in research and development, merger and acquisition, and process technology. Geert started their career at DSM as a Manager in Research and Development, where they specialized in Chemistry and Technology.

Geert Bonte holds an Engineer's Degree in (Bio) Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven, which they obtained from 1984 to 1989. Geert later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from UHasselt, completing it from 1991 to 1996. In 2005 to 2006, they earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.
