Heather Swart

Board Member at NOVA Bulls Organization

Heather Swart was born and raised in Saugerties, New York. At a young age, Heather found a love for basketball and played in the local Youth Center and YMCA leagues. Heather went on to play college basketball for Ulster County, where she was the schools leading scorer for two years straight, and went on to play for the University of South Florida (USF).

Upon graduating from USF, Heather became the Head Coach for Clearwater Central Catholic High School’s basketball team for three years before returning home to Saugerties to give back to the community by becoming the Associate Head Coach at both Saugerties Junior High School and Saugerties High School. After coaching Junior High and High School basketball, Heather moved on to coach the Ulster County Community College Women’s Basketball team for three years.

Heather has an extensive background in the sport of basketball. She was the Executive Assistant for Smush Parker Elite, the National Director of Basketball Operations for the Mixed-Gender Basketball Association, and a USA Basketball-Certified Youth Development Coach.

Heather joined the NOVA Bulls Organization to promote the love of basketball while enriching the community.
