Larry Hinton is an inspirational leader for the NOVA Bulls Semi-Pro Team. His life story exemplifies the power of dedication and hard work. Born in 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, Larry played baseball at Coppin State College from 1968 to 1972. In 1971 he pledged to Kappa Alpha Psi and went on to graduate with a degree in sociology in 1973. He then went on to receive a master's degree in criminal justice from the same school in 1975.

From 1975-79, Larry was teaching physical education and coached basketball in the Baltimore City school system, while simultaneously earning his master’s degree. In 1981 he joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a special agent, where he remained until his retirement in 2008.

Since then, Larry has devoted himself to officiating, coaching, and training athletes of all ages. His work with the NOVA Bulls Semi-Pro Team is a testament to his commitment to helping others reach their potential. He believes that success comes from dedication and hard work, an attitude that permeates every aspect of the team’s operations. His long and varied career gives Larry a wealth of experience and knowledge to bring to this important role with the NOVA Bulls.
