Xavier Rolland

Xavier Rolland is a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from Concordia University, obtained in May 2023. Currently working at Nova Bus since May 2023, Xavier specializes in the mechanical design of electrical distribution systems for various bus types, including diesel and electric models. Prior experience includes a role at Nova Bus from May 2022 to August 2022, where Xavier developed a tool for calculating vehicle centers of gravity, leading to significant cost savings and improved accuracy. Previous internship experience at Bombardier involved stress engineering tasks, such as finite element analysis of airframes, authoring repair reports, performing crack growth analysis, and creating analytical tools to enhance efficiency. Xavier also contributed to the Air Display Hot Air Balloon Team from 2015 to 2018 as a crew member.
