Shelly Waters

Shelly Waters has a wealth of experience in human resources and internal auditing. Shelly worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Director at the same company from February 2020 to December 2020.

Before joining NOVA, Shelly was the Human Resources Director for Royal Thai from October 2017 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing HR strategies, systems, and policies for the US and UK divisions of the company. Shelly also acted as a strategic business partner to senior leadership.

Earlier in their career, Shelly held various roles at Tai Ping Carpets from 2010 to 2017. Shelly served as the Human Resources Director for the Americas, overseeing HR, benefits, and payroll functions for the US and Latin America. Shelly was also involved in the development and execution of global HR activities. Additionally, they worked as the Internal Audit Assistant Manager, responsible for planning and executing internal audit activities.

Shelly began their career at Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, Inc. as a Senior Internal Auditor from March 2008 to March 2009. Shelly also worked as an Internal Audit Consultant at Hamer & Associates from March 1998 to March 2008.

Overall, Shelly has demonstrated expertise in human resources management, strategic planning, and internal auditing throughout their career.

Shelly Waters obtained a Human Resources Practices Certificate from Cornell University in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from West Virginia University. In 2017, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
