Jacob Round has a diverse work experience in the field of audio production and engineering. Jacob served as the Creative Director at Round Sound Music from 2003 onwards. In 2012, they joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a Freelance Audio Specialist and later became the Presenter of Live and Local. Jacob then moved on to work at A Rational Fear as an Audio Post Production/Sketch Producer in 2018. In 2019, they became an Audio Producer at Benztown and an Audio Mixer at Mamamia. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Image Producer/Audio Engineer at NOVA Entertainment from 2013 onwards. Jacob also served as a Guest Lecturer at the Australian Film Television and Radio School from 2014 until 2019. Furthermore, they worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer at Smith & Western Sound from 2013 to 2017 and as an Image Producer/Audio Engineer at Southern Cross Austereo from 2007 to 2011. Currently, they are working as a Freelance Commercial Producer at Southern Cross Austereo, starting in 2021.

Jacob Round attended Southern Cross University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Contemporary Music degree. During their time at the university, Jacob focused on Music Theory/Composition and Audio Production as their field of study.
