Katherine Perone

Katherine Perone is an experienced food service supervisor currently working at Nova Scotia Health Authority since March 2023. With a strong background in nutrition, Katherine has held various roles including Nutricionista de Planificación at Mediterránea Chile and Subgerente de alimentación y cafetería at Hospital Clínico Metropolitano El Carmen from 2017 to early 2021. Additional experience includes positions as Nutricionista supervisora at Hospital La Florida, and Nutricionista at Clínica UC San Carlos de Apoquindo. Katherine has also contributed to education as an instructor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de Las Américas. Katherine's early career involved planning nutrition at Jardín Infantil Mi Pequeño Genio and clinical nutrition roles at Megasalud and Centro de diálisis San Pedro de la Paz. Katherine holds a degree in Nutrition from Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, along with a diploma in HACCP and food safety for central kitchens.
