Leanna MacLean

Leanna MacLean is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical engineering and product management, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Engineering at Nova Scotia Health Authority since February 2019. With a diverse background that includes roles as Manager of Sustainability and Improvement and Lead of Supply Chain Enablement within the same organization, Leanna's expertise spans program development, customer relationship management, and data analysis for medical performance improvement. Prior experience at Halifax Biomedical Inc. involved roles such as Product Manager, Clinical Services and Customer Development Manager, and Research Engineer, where Leanna excelled in understanding clinical needs, managing multi-stakeholder programs, and enhancing research methodologies. Leanna's early career included a mechanical engineering position at Michelin, contributing to a globally implemented detection mechanism.
