Paul Warren

Paul Warren is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Regional Operations at Nova Scotia Power since June 2023. Previously, Paul held multiple leadership roles at Tampa Electric from April 2021 to June 2023, including Director of Projects and Director of Substation & Transmission Operations, Engineering & Project Management. Prior to that, Paul was the Manager of Engineering & Operations for the Central Service Area and Senior Manager of Solar Operations at Tampa Electric from August 2018 to November 2020. Notable past positions also include Senior Manager at Emera Energy and Plant Manager at Bridgeport Energy LLC. Paul built a strong foundation in energy operations while working for Emera from October 1990 to June 2014, where Paul was a Plant Manager focusing on Hydro & Wind Energy. Early in the career, Paul served as a Master Corporal in the Department of National Defense from June 1985 to June 1990. Paul holds a Technology Diploma in Marine Engineering and Mechanic Engineering from St. Lawrence College, Cornwall, Ontario, earned between 1985 and 1987.
