Matthew Petersen

Matthew Petersen is an experienced professional in the culinary and cannabis industries, currently serving as the Regional Director of Operations - East at Wyld since September 2025. As a co-owner of Rehoboth Roots, a wholesale and retail CBD company, Matthew focuses on producing responsibly sourced products. Previous roles include National Director of Edibles Manufacturing at AYR Wellness Inc., where Matthew overhauled the edible portfolio, and Director of Manufacturing at Jushi Holdings Inc., overseeing cannabis extraction and infusion processing. Earlier culinary positions include Director of Culinary Operations at Nature's Remedy, Corporate Executive Pastry Chef at Newport Harbor Corporation, and Executive Pastry Chef at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Matthew's culinary talent was showcased as a contestant on Bravo's Top Chef Just Desserts, where Matthew finished as second runner-up and was voted Fan Favorite. Matthew holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Baking and Pastry from Johnson & Wales University.
