Takashi Koyama

Takashi Koyama, DMD, PhD, FACS, is an accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive experience and a strong academic background. Currently serving as President and CEO of the Florida Institute of OMS since 2007, Takashi also holds the position of Attending Surgeon at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute, specializing in facial trauma. Takashi's academic roles include Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University and various positions within its Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, demonstrating a commitment to education and research. With prior positions as Chief of Surgery at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and consultant with the Florida Department of Health, Takashi brings a rich history of clinical and research expertise, including significant contributions to the field of molecular oncology and oral cancer carcinogenesis. Educational qualifications include a DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
