Ruvini Lokunarangoda started their career in 2005 as a Junior Programmer at EDMS pvt Ltd. Ruvini worked on the development of QTrack, a document management system used by Australian and European markets. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Software Systems Engineer - Intern at designsoft technologies pvt ltd, where they contributed to the development of the Mensitpi ERP building framework. Ruvini then joined Associated Ceat Sri Lanka as a Software Engineer from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer (web) at Pyxle (Pvt) Limited and remained in this role until 2014. From 2014 to 2019, Ruvini worked at CMS LK as a Senior Software Engineer and at Netstarter - (A Salmat Company) as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead. In 2019, they joined EIGHT25MEDIA as an Associate Tech Lead and Technical Project Manager, and in 2021, they became a Scrum Master Project Management at Novacura.
Ruvini Lokunarangoda obtained a Bachelor of Information and Communications degree from the University of Colombo from 2006 to 2009. Ruvini later pursued their Master of Science in Advanced Software Engineering at the University of Westminster from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Ruvini achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2021. Ruvini also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2020.
