Sun Ung Lee

Sun Ung Lee is currently a Board Member at Novakid. Sun has previously held positions at Cloudike, LG Electronics, and LG Uplus.

Lee began their career at LG Uplus in 2004, where they served as General Manager. In this role, they were responsible for LG Uplus' subscription-based data business. Sun was responsible for setting business and marketing strategy, managing programs and projects, coordinating cross departmental issues, and leading 16 team members.

In 2009, Lee transitioned to LG Electronics, where they held the position of Director for the Smart Business Center in Seoul, Korea. In this role, they were responsible for the LG Cloud, Contents and Services in Russia, and strategic partnerships, strategies and expansion for Russia, India and Brazil. Sun successfully launched the LG Cloud in the Korean, American, and Russian markets.

In 2013, Lee left LG Electronics to join Cloudike as Head of Cloud Team. In this role, they were responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the company. Sun successfully grew the company and increased profits.

Most recently, in 2018, Lee joined Novakid as a Board Member. In this role, they provide guidance and advice to the company on strategic decisions.

Sun Ung Lee has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the same school, a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, and has taken a Design Thinking course at d.school, Stanford University.
