Novalith
Steven Vassiloudis is the CEO and Founder of Novalith Technologies, a climate technology company based in Sydney, Australia. Novalith uses carbon dioxide to simplify lithium chemicals production and aims to eliminate carbon-intensive energy sources. Steven developed Novalith's LiCAL lithium extraction technology, which reduces capital and production costs by using fewer resources.
Prior to Novalith, Steven worked at Kemplant Pty Ltd as a Process Engineer and later became a Director. At the University of Sydney, they held various roles such as Affiliate, Honorary Associate, Lecturer, and Educational Marketing Consultant. As a Lecturer, Steven taught undergraduate and postgraduate students about discrete systems and product design, focusing on particulate technologies. Steven also provided practical examples to illustrate product formulation and design methods.
Steven Vassiloudis completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Sydney between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, between 2007 and 2009, Steven attended The King's School in Ely, United Kingdom, where they pursued A-Level Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Steven also took AS-Level Mathematics during this period.

Novalith
Novalith Technologies is a climate technology company that uses carbon dioxide to simplify lithium chemicals production. Novalith's LiCALTM lithium extraction technology uses significantly less equipment, chemical reagents, water and energy than conventional processing, which reduces capital and production costs. The direct use andsequestration of CO2 in producing lithium chemicals also produces a much smaller emissions footprint than existing and alternative processes.
