Aleksandar Stefanovic has extensive work experience in the field of business development and marketing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Aleksandar is currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Structural Biology and the Institut de Biophysique pour la Recherche Biomedicale at NovAliX since May 2023.
Previously, they held roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific as Sr. Market Development Manager and Product Marketing Manager for the Pharma division from September 2016 to April 2023. Before that, they worked as a Product Marketing Manager for GS BU LS Pharma at FEI Company from February 2016 to September 2016.
Prior to these positions, Aleksandar held various roles at PANalytical, where they worked as a Regional Marketing Manager and a Regional Product Manager for XRD from August 2001 to December 2015.
Aleksandar also worked at Philips X-ray Analytical as a Regional Sales Manager for the CEE region from 1995 to 2001.
Before entering the industry, Aleksandar worked at EncoNet as a Business Development Manager and an Environmental Impact Assessment Project Leader from 1993 to 1995.
Aleksandar began their career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, from 1987 to 1993.
Aleksandar Stefanovic holds an M.Sc. (Honours) degree in Chemistry, specializing in Chemical Crystallography, from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science in Croatia. Aleksandar obtained this degree between 1982 and 1985. Prior to that, they also completed their B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Chemistry from the same institution, between 1975 and 1981. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications in "Strategic and Conceptual Selling with Perspective" from Miller Heiman Group, "PMC Level I" from Pragmatic Institute, and a "Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate" from the International Institute for Learning, Inc.
