Ahmed Faraz

Director, Intel Global Account at Nova

Ahmed Faraz has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Ahmed started their career at Auburn University as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Electrical Engineering department. During this time, they gained expertise in path delay tuning for performance gain and worked with various designing tools.

After completing their role at Auburn University, Ahmed joined Applied Materials as an Application Engineer. In this position, they supported the company's wafer inspection product and collaborated closely with Intel to maximize tool performance. Ahmed also enhanced defect inspection capabilities on advanced patterning layers.

Later, Ahmed took on the role of Senior Process Engineer at Applied Materials. Ahmed helped Intel in monitoring and controlling the quality of chip manufacturing steps and ensured accuracy in defect detection. Ahmed collaborated across multiple platforms to deliver a high-level sensitivity package.

Currently, Ahmed is working at Nova Ltd. as the Director of Intel Global Account, starting in 2023.

Ahmed Faraz completed their education with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications from Greater Noida Institute of Technology in 2006. Ahmed then pursued a Master of Applied Mathematics degree from Auburn University from 2007 to 2010, followed by a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from the same university from 2008 to 2011. Recently, in 2018, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business.
