Andre L. F. Cauduro

Andre L. F. Cauduro, PhD, currently serves as the R&D Systems Engineer Technical Lead at Nova Ltd. since February 2024. Previously, Andre was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories from July 2020 to November 2023, where responsibilities included leading research in Low Energy Electron Microscopy (LEEM) and Ambient-Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (AP-XPS). Prior to Sandia, Andre worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Berkeley Lab from June 2017 to July 2020, focusing on collaborative projects to develop low work function surfaces and maintaining ultrahigh vacuum systems. Andre’s academic foundation includes a PhD in Engineering Science from Syddansk Universitet, along with a Master’s degree in Microelectronics and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
