Gary V. Lopez

Gary V. Lopez is a highly experienced technical manager and research scientist currently employed at Nova Ltd. since November 2022. Previous positions include senior research scientist and research scientist at KLA from October 2017 to November 2022, and postdoctoral appointee at Sandia National Laboratories from September 2015 to September 2017, where expertise in laser ionization and dissociation spectroscopy was developed. Additional postdoctoral research was conducted at Brown University from August 2012 to August 2015, focusing on actinide-ligand binding and electronic structure studies. A Ph.D. in Chemistry was earned at Stony Brook University between 2006 and 2012, following a professional degree and bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, completed in 2004 and 2003, respectively.
