Martina Cartwright has extensive experience in the medical and education fields. Martina currently holds the position of Vice President, Medical Affairs at Novan, Inc., which they started in December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the President/CEO of Beacon Science, Inc. from September 2011 onwards. Martina has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at The University of Arizona since 1995. Martina Cartwright earned their Bachelor of Science degree in 1990 and their Master of Science degree in 1992 from the University of Arizona. Martina then pursued a PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1992 to 1995. Following their PhD, they completed an internship in Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at the same university in 1996. Martina also obtained the certification of Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in August 1996 from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Prior to their university education, Martina attended Roncalli from 1982 to 1986.
